Press meet organized on March 10th declared that Aaron will work for Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture + Design as a new director.

The Richard Blythe (present dean at Virginia) states that he is an acknowledged leader with cross-culture, professional in perfection, innovator. He too hopes that his knowledge and expertise will help in the growth of the college.

Aaron’s network with many Universities and his past background as a dean at Beyond building will display a productive impact on Virginia.

He was born in Missoula and bought up in the Netherlands.

The career of Aaron Betsky:

  • 1995 to 20001- architecture, held many digital projects, designer
  • 2001 to 2006 – Director of Netherland Architecture Institute. He had also taught many Universities and served for O. Gehry and others
  • 2006 to 2014 – director of Cincinnati Art Museum
  • 2015 – appointed as dean of Architecture Beyond Building

Aaron Betsky at present he is president of Architecture at Taliesin. He is a critic, architect, and innovator.

Richard concluded with excitement that he is waiting for Aaron‘s presence. The school has good historic prestige and Aaron’s qualification will complement the goodwill of school.

He again quoted that “technology will perform as a tool for further building growth and prospective scope”.

Aaron will join as a new director from June 1st, 2020.
