The AIA 2020 conference which was scheduled for March 14th to March 16th in Los Angeles is now cancelled because of the uprising of Coronavirus. AIA states that the registration fees collected for workshops and events will be refunded.

The refund will not take more time as they will cancel registrations and refund the amount within 30days. People can cancel their registrations just by dropping a mail to register@conferenceonarchitecture.com.

Yesterday’s statement stated that the AIA conference postponed because of Coronavirus. Mayor Garcetti has called off all the events in LA from March 12th.

Architects say that they are planning to reschedule the event soon. They also quoted “the health and safety of all its members is important”.

The president, Jane Frederick hope that inconvenience will be reduced by intimating the participants soon.
