HOM Furniture joins the list of organizations that make changes to their stores and events due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Minneapolis based HOM Furniture announces the temporary closing of all of their showroom locations.
The closing retail showroom locations include –
- HOM DOCK-86 and,
- Gabberts Fine Design & Furnishings
The announcement took place at the close of their business on 19th March 2020 and covers the Sioux City location.

What CEO of HOM Furniture Said About The Shutdown?
According to Rodney Johansen, CEO, and President of HOM Furniture, their company is monitoring the coronavirus situation from the last few weeks. Also, their priority is to keep their customers, families, and employers safe from the COVID-19.
He also added that as a sizeable non-essential employer, it is their responsibility towards the community to take appropriate measures.

What Will Happen To The Already Scheduled Deliveries?
According to the reports, the other departments of HOM furniture’s corporate office will continue to work. It includes the delivery and warehouse operations teams.
They will work and deliver furniture to the customers until the next week. It, of course, includes online orders as well. Also, they will use the necessary precautions regarding the coronavirus situation described by the CDC.
Apart from the above, the company will be asking its staff and customers just to make sure, if anyone is feeling sick. HOM Furniture will reopen its brand showrooms on 1st April 2020.
